Because of the election, we couldn't make this announcement on Gala Day. However, we are now pleased to express our immense gratitude to the National Lottery Community Fund!
With the backing of the Community Fund Grant, we successfully hosted the Larkhall Gala Day 2024. The event was a great success, allowing us to offer local children free access to the inflatables. This support also helped us focus on fundraising initiatives to guarantee that local schools could receive free food vouchers where required, ensuring that this year's Gala Day was fully inclusive.
It was truly heartbreaking to learn that there were children who would not have been able to attend the Gala Day without this support. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated case, as the rising cost of living has affected our community. It was a positive step to eliminate this barrier, even if only for a day.
Without the support of the Community Fund and our Local Community, we wouldn't have been able to achieve this. Thank you once again, we are truly grateful!
